Printed in layers from plant-based PLA, then finished by hand with a flame for a clean, matte surface. Made in Amsterdam. Includes a removable, water-tight PETG insert for fresh flowers. Each vase arrives in a white LUMA box with protective wrap and a thank-you card.

Care

Wipe the vase with a soft, damp cloth and keep it below 50°C: away from radiators, hot cars and sunny windowsills in summer. Rinse the insert by hand with lukewarm water; it is not dishwasher safe.

From the ribs to the insert

Spiral ribs

The spiral ribs are part of the printed form. They catch the light and cast a fine shadow along each line.

Plant-based PLA

Printed from plant-based PLA, with a matte finish. PLA softens in heat, so keep the vase below 50°C.

Water-tight insert

Lift out the PETG insert, fill it with water and set it back. The vase itself stays dry.

Frequently asked questions

Which size should I choose?

A bouquet looks best at about one and a half to two times the height of the vase.

  • Small (21cm): a few stems, about 35 to 45 cm in total.
  • Medium (27cm): a bouquet of about 40 to 55 cm.
  • Large (33cm): long stems or a branch, about 50 to 70 cm.

Is a 3D-printed vase water-tight?

Not always on its own: water can seep through the fine seams between the printed layers. That is why every LUMA vase comes with a removable, water-tight insert. It holds the water and the flowers, so the vase itself stays dry.

Can I use dried flowers or pampas?

Yes. Dried flowers, pampas and grasses need no water, so they can go straight into the vase, with or without the insert.

Can it stand in the sun or near a radiator?

Keep it below 50°C, because PLA starts to soften around 55°C. So no radiators, hot cars or sunny windowsills in summer.
