The craft

Printed in layers, finished by hand.

The printer gives the form, ribs included. The hand gives the surface: we pass a flame over every vase until it is matte and soft to the touch. Made in Amsterdam, in small batches.

What is LUMA?

LUMA. amsterdam makes sculptural 3D-printed vases from plant-based PLA, each one finished by hand with a flame. Made in Amsterdam, in five matte colours and three sizes, with a water-tight insert for fresh flowers.

Is a 3D-printed vase water-tight?

Not always on its own: water can seep through the fine seams between the printed layers. That is why every LUMA vase comes with a removable, water-tight insert. It holds the water and the flowers, so the vase itself stays dry.

What do the vases cost?

Small €39, Medium €69 and Large €99, VAT included. With two vases in your cart you get 15% off at checkout, with three or more 25%.

How fast is delivery, and what does it cost?

Vases in stock ship within one working day, made-to-order vases within two to three. Delivery then takes one to two working days in the Netherlands, three to five elsewhere in the EU. Shipping is free from €80; below that it is €6 in the Netherlands and €10 elsewhere in the EU.

Can I return a vase?

Yes, within 30 days, with free return shipping within the EU.
