Material and finish
Each vase is 3D-printed from plant-based PLA, in thin layers and in small batches. Then we finish it by hand with a flame, which takes away small print marks and leaves a matte surface, soft to the touch. Made in Amsterdam.
Every vase comes with a removable, water-tight PETG insert. It holds the water for fresh flowers, so the vase itself stays dry.
Sizes
Every shape comes in three heights. SILO, SILK and SORA: 22, 28 and 34 cm. SPIRE: 21, 27 and 33 cm.
Care
- Wipe the vase with a soft, damp cloth.
- Only the insert holds water. Wash it by hand in lukewarm water with a little washing-up liquid. It is not dishwasher safe.
- Keep the vase below 50°C, so no radiators, hot cars or sunny windowsills in summer.
Why these temperatures
PLA, the material of the vase, starts to soften at around 55°C. PETG, the material of the insert, takes more heat and softens at around 70°C. But the insert is thin, and a dishwasher reaches 70 to 75°C on an intensive programme, plus the heat of drying. That can bend it out of shape, so wash it by hand.
