How to combine two or three vases
Share
Short answer: let the vases share one thing, such as their colour or their shape, and vary the height. Place them close together in a loose triangle rather than in a row, with space around the group. Two or three vases then read as one arrangement instead of clutter.
Choose one shared element
Vases that differ in everything compete for attention. Vases that share one thing belong together. Pick one:
- The same colour, different shapes: a SILO and a SILK in olive.
- The same shape, different heights: a SILO in Small, Medium and Large.
- The same shape and height, two colours: two SILO Mediums in white and black.
Every LUMA vase has the same matte finish and fine spiral ribs, so any two of them already have something in common.
Vary the height
Different heights give a group its rhythm. LUMA sizes step up by 6 cm: 22, 28 and 34 cm, or 21, 27 and 33 cm for SPIRE. A Small, Medium and Large together form a low staircase; a Medium and a Large make a quieter pair.
Four combinations that work

| SILK Large and SORA Small in olive | Two shapes, one colour | €138 | €117.30 |

The set discount is taken off automatically in your cart: 15% for two vases, 25% for three or more. Shipping is free from €80, counted after the discount, so every set in this table ships free.
How to place them
- A loose triangle: the tallest at the back, the others slightly forward and to the side.
- Close, but not touching: a few centimetres between them keeps each shape readable.
- Room around the group: on a sideboard, keep the rest of the surface clear.
- A shared base: a tray, a stack of books or a wooden board turns separate vases into one still life.
Flowers in a set
A set does not need flowers in every vase. One branch in the tallest and nothing in the others is often enough, and so is the same stem repeated at different heights. Fresh and dried flowers can share a group: fresh flowers stand in the insert, dried flowers go straight into the vase. Which height suits which stems is in which vase for which flowers.
Frequently asked questions
How many vases should you group together?
Two or three is usually enough. Three in different heights form the most natural group; two work best with one clear difference, in height or colour.
Do vases in a group need to be the same colour?
No, but they should share one thing, such as colour or shape. LUMA vases always share their matte finish and fine spiral ribs.
How does the set discount work?
Two vases in one order are 15% off, three or more 25%, taken off automatically in your cart. Any mix of shapes, colours and sizes counts.
